Chinese Garden Phase II at The Huntington Botanical Gardens, San Marino, California
The Huntington opened up the Phase II portion of their Chinese Garden this past spring but I didn’t get a chance to photograph it until Saturday when I was in town for a wedding and to visit family. The Huntington gets very busy as it is an international travel destination so I visited at 8 a.m. before the gardens open to the general public just like I used to when I lived nearby. With the Phase II additions, the garden is really starting to take shape even though it’s still a few years away from completion. I look forward to spending more time here later this fall when the foliage turns color.
